Made up of Mary and Michele Nugent, Tom Kenna, Andrew Kennedy, Seamus Hayes and Tommy Kelly, The Cedartowns are an exciting fusion of contemporary folk and blues with a Mediterranean twist. Their seasoned voices, original lyrics and meticulous arrangements weave seamlessly together to form a rich tapestry of sound, with the blood harmonies of the Nugent sisters a golden thread that runs throughout.

A popular band on the festival scene, The Cedartowns have brought their dynamic and beautiful song-writing to the likes of the Gravity, Clonmel Busking and Cashel Arts festivals. They have played to sell-out gigs at the Clonmel and Portlaw Folk Clubs, and at Bunmahon Geopark. In 2017 the band played support to Anuna at the Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre.

The Cedartowns' music is a breath-taking journey of emotive melodies, foot-stomping tunes and joyous harmonies that translate beautifully from intimate pub setting to the stage.
